Today was all about working with assets. The project that I’m going to work on tomorrow involves several models, textures, and audio files. Today I wanted to learn how to create a scene while loading assets from the server. I got started by revisiting the scene I made yesterday. I cleaned up the code a…

Posted in A Month of Babylon JS, Technical
Today I broke away from structured reading and gave myself some time to play and create. I already have an idea of what I want to do for the project this Friday, so I spent my time today creating a scene and some basic features that I’ll need later. I’ll go into more detail regarding…

This was a short test recording I made with Adobe Podcast (beta as of Sep 2023).

    Recording:

    Unedited transcript:

Joseph: This is just a test of the new Adobe Podcast app. It’s in beta and I’ve been on the waiting list for a couple of months and I got the email this weekend. So I’m talking into my MacBook with no microphone or anything, just using the the built in MacBook Pro microphone. And I’m sitting on my couch not terribly close to it and talking pretty quietly at my normal tone and not necessarily holding still or trying to be quiet. So. Yeah. That’s where it put this thing through its paces and see what it can do with mouth sounds and background sound or whatever. But yeah, I’m just going to talk for about, I don’t know, five more seconds and then I’ll stop and see what it sounds

    Notes

    • Editing is a bit limited
    • Exports are large and would need to be mixed down
    • Chrome only
    • Beta for now, pricing unknown
