Just to get the apology out there now, I’m sorry but I’ll be incorporating kazoos into every aspect of my life. You have been warned.

Playing with colorful random boxes in PlayCanvas. I modified the entityCreator to include multiple materials.

This is the scene that I made today in PlayCanvas. I didn’t set out to make anything in particular. I just wanted to spend some time learning my way around the editor and tooling. You can try out the scene in VR here or watch the video demo below.

Playing with scale in VR is fun. It’s even more fun when I mess it up a bit.

Just one another argument in my head.

I really gave them a piece of my mind.

4 years ago, today a friend and I published the last episode of the VR Hermits Podcast.

It’s still up for now but will be archived soon. Check it out if you want to see what I was up to before getting interested in WebXR.

Spoiler: lots of waffling between Unity and Unreal.

Once I archive these episodes somewhere, I’m thinking of reusing the domain for something else. Perhaps something on the Fediverse?

Multi-device hot reload in PlayCanvas is amazing. I can make a change in the editor and see it right away on other devices. You can even opt scripts into hot reloading while you’re working on them.

Has anyone gotten clones working IRL? I’ve tried:

let Joe = new Joe();
Joe.skills = [WebDev, UI, UX];
Joe.focus = [BabylonJS, VueJS, WordPress];

let joe2 = Joe.clone();
joe2.focus = [ThreeJS, AFrame, Spline];

let joe3 = Joe.clone();
joe3.focus = [PlayCanvas]

“physics” right?
