Fix Windows scaling issues in FileMaker Pro
Tired of those tiny inspector icons in FileMaker Pro on Windows?
If you are using a 4K display on Windows, you may have noticed that the icons in the inspector are small and difficult to click. To improve this, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the FileMaker Pro shortcut on the desktop (or the FileMaker Pro application in
C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro 19
- Click on the Compatibility tab
- Click on the button called “Change high DPI settings”
- Select the checkbox “Use this setting to fix scaling…”
- Select the checkbox “Override high DPI scaling behavior…” and change the drop-down to “System (Enhanced)
- Close and relaunch FileMaker Pro
These settings will make the icons in the inspector larger, though they may be a bit fuzzy. Click targets should be easier to hit now. Your milage may vary.
