Fix Windows scaling issues in FileMaker Pro

Tired of those tiny inspector icons in FileMaker Pro on Windows?

If you are using a 4K display on Windows, you may have noticed that the icons in the inspector are small and difficult to click. To improve this, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the FileMaker Pro shortcut on the desktop (or the FileMaker Pro application in C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro 19
2. Click on the Compatibility tab
3. Click on the button called “Change high DPI settings”
4. Select the checkbox “Use this setting to fix scaling…”
5. Select the checkbox “Override high DPI scaling behavior…” and change the drop-down to “System (Enhanced)
6. Close and relaunch FileMaker Pro

These settings will make the icons in the inspector larger, though they may be a bit fuzzy. Click targets should be easier to hit now. Your milage may vary.
