Joseph: This is just a test of the new Adobe Podcast app. It’s in beta and I’ve been on the waiting list for a couple of months and I got the email this weekend. So I’m talking into my MacBook with no microphone or anything, just using the the built in MacBook Pro microphone. And I’m sitting on my couch not terribly close to it and talking pretty quietly at my normal tone and not necessarily holding still or trying to be quiet. So. Yeah. That’s where it put this thing through its paces and see what it can do with mouth sounds and background sound or whatever. But yeah, I’m just going to talk for about, I don’t know, five more seconds and then I’ll stop and see what it sounds

Pancakes and Space.

Pancakes = the 2D (normal) UI/UX work I do all day

Space = the 3D/VR work I tinker with

Apple Vision Pro = Pancakes IN Space

I have so many ideas for tech demos, articles, and projects. Looks like my next project is going to be a place to organize and consider these ideas. Building first for spatial computing, pancakes later.

How many AdvancedDynamicTextures can I load in a WebXR scene on an Meta Quest 2? It seems like 30 to 50 is a safe bet for now. These cards only have a single text block and a SixDofDragBehavior. When I make more advanced cards with more controls, I may have to reduce the number of cards in a scene.

I’m glad it will take another 6-9 months to get Apple Vision Pro.

That gives me plenty of time to finish Tears of the Kingdom and Final Fantasy 16 🙃
